This track is aimed at software entrepreneurs and those aspiring to become one. The goal is to facilitate the exchange of experiences and know-how.
Session 1 – How to build and grow your company
Swiss software companies face a handicap: They operate in a small market. This limits their growth early on. As a result, promising Swiss software companies are often acquired by international players. What's the aleternative? How else can swiss software venture into the global software shark tank without getting bitten? Or should swiss software simply focus on business models that primarily serve the domestic demand?
Session 2 – How to build and grow your talent
Developing software isn't only a laborious process; it's a craft. Talent makes all the difference. While access to well-trained specialists is essential for software companies, the decisive factor is whether and how quickly this talent can be made productive. Several strategies exist for this: from apprenticeships and cross-company training programs to self-learning and -organizing corporate structures.
